Depok, Indonesia (AP) – Two bright feathers Conco Perched in his hand, their long tails brushed towards him, Albi Albar Ramri balked on his bike on Saturday morning and headed to the open field near his home.
Behind him, six more Congouins waited in a wooden box tied to the passenger seat, ready for training. On his way to join fellow Macau enthusiasts in the surrounding area, Ramli transformed the vacant lot into a lively gathering place for both birds and keepers.
In the training field, 33-year-old Ramri taught the birds to fly back within three minutes as he blows whi, preparing for a submission and cohesive competition among the birds within the group.

Ramri’s passion for birds began in 2018 when he was keeping a small parakeet, but soon he dreamed of caring for larger, more elegant species like Concoe. Inspired by social media videos, the 33-year-old showed that the birds had returned to their trainers after flying freely.
That dream came to life in 2020. The exotic bird owner entrusted him with the impressive blue and gold division Zoro. Zoro was the first Macau trained by Ramri, and the bond they formed was the beginning of his journey into life. Charismatic parrot Native to South America.
Today, Ramri has 18 of them in an adjacent section of his home, where he lives with a small family in the countryside of southern Jakarta. It’s like running a school for Concoe.

There is a shamrock macaw with a bright red crown and a Lexus, a shamlet congo wing with a bright orange painted on its head. They are just two of the hybrid species he cared for.
Ramri not only cares for the birds by feeding them daily and cleaning the cage twice a week, but also grooming the feathers to make them look bright and clean.
Through this bond he established himself as a leader of the flock, ensuring that no matter how far apart they were in the competition, they would always find a way back to him.
