Reports say Manchester United will have to pay a “eye-away” bag bill if they break up with head coach Reuben Amorim.
Amorim is now his second favorite to become the next Premier League manager as Man UTD endured a poor start to the 2024/25 campaign.
Under Amorim, Man Utd has only won one of the five game openings in all competitions as the Premier League Giants still struggle to get used to the head coach’s 3-4-3 formation.
Amorims keeps them from reluctant to adapt as they remain ineffective in attacking areas, but it’s also easy to play and score in the past.
This weekend’s match against Chelsea feels huge as another loss could be devastating for the Man UTD boss. It shows that his team has lost faith.

Currently, Daily Mail reports that if Red Devils looted a Portuguese coach within the first year of his contract at Old Trafford, he is facing “£12 million” to pay Amorim a “eyeworthy” bill.
“The Portuguese boss also pointed out in May that if United decides that it is no longer the right person, that it is not true, they will leave without compensation.”
Note that the “four favorites” that will replace Amorim are “Marco Silva of Fulham, Oliver Grasner of Crystal Palace, Unai Emery of Aston Villa and Andenyi Laora of Bournemouth.”
Nevertheless, it appears that Man Utd’s team is not on sale at Amorim. The new “surprising problem” is that “the number of numbers close to the first team’s teams will become increasingly concerned that they will hide when it gets difficult in a match, and it is not enough to inspire you from the technical field.”

It is also said that the Man Utd team has two more “concerns” due to “questions about Amorim’s system and prolonged concerns about his ability to motivate.”
On the other hand, there is also Amorim’s sense that “emotions can make the most of him.”
It will be added to the report:
“It will be interesting to see Amorim ask questions from four reporters after the Manchester Derby is defeated before the Manchester Derby is taken away from the shooting line by the club staff.
“Confidential understands United are worried about how emotions can make Amorim better.
