Trent Alexander Arnold suffered another muscle injury three minutes after his first Champions League match as a Real Madrid player.
Alexander Arnold’s move from Liverpool to Real Madrid was confirmed in May. He joined following the end of his contract at Anfield, but the Los Blancos paid £10 million to sign him early for the Club World Cup.
He made his La Liga Liga debut in Match Day 1 with Osasuna before being dropped against Real Oviedo, returning to the starting XI against Mallorca, and then out of the bench with Real Sociedaddo.
Xabi Alonso gave England a right back to the right back for his team’s Champions League opening fixture against Marseille, but Trent continued just five minutes after suffering from what appeared to be a hamstring injury.

Liverpool fans appear to enjoy the misery of Trent’s injuries. He opposed his decision to leave the club for Real Madrid. On social media there are incredible copies of social media claiming that they “dodged the bullet” by not agreeing to a new deal with him.
Apparently, Trent was not allowed to try anything new after dedicating much of his life to Liverpool and winning everything possible with them. Although there was no downs to the tool, it was clearly a demonic act to focus on the move to Spain a few years ago and stop the club from winning a significant fee, destroying the Reds’ legendary status.
That’s a debate that went away when the 26-year-old’s injury issue fell into the spotlight after maintaining a fresh problem on Tuesday evening.
There is already a debate that Liverpool enjoys the best years of Alexander Arnold’s career.
Since the start of 2023/24, Alexander Arnold has suffered from four separate hamstring injuries, ankle injuries, two knee ligament issues and missed the game (TransferMarkt) due to muscle problems.
His fresh issue was that Trent should have kept him out a month and six Real Madrid matches, and leaving that out, he missed 174 days and 29 games with injuries in between.

From his Liverpool debut in October 2016 to the end of 2022/23, Torrent missed 23 games and 193 days.
The incredible strength of Klopp’s soccer may have cooked Trent’s hamstrings. The frequency of his injuries tells us a lot.
He was used like a bar of soap during Klopp’s days at Liverpool, and he realized that current head coach Arne Slot would be in charge of his first season.
Last year, Trent only played 90 minutes in 12 Premier League matches, as the appearance of Connor Bradley allows for more spins at right back. The impeccable slot with record keeping players healthy may have added two more years to Alexander Arnold’s career. His two bench appearances in La Liga under Alonso show that the Real Madrid boss knows he should be carefully managed.
That’s not to say Klopp didn’t carefully manage torrents. His style of play is that he bombed his right flank up and down, causing a blow to the player who pushed the pitch every week at the best of eight years.
Currently, torrents are set to miss 4-6 weeks of action, with no indication that these small tweaks have been let go. It’s not a career threat, but this is a worrying trend for players, Real Madrid and the UK.
