Reports say former West Ham midfielder Scott Parker will be in the frame to replace Graham Potter if Hammer decides to fire his current manager.
West Ham only won one of the first five Premier League fixtures of the season, but was knocked out of the League Cup by the Wolves.
Before the Crystal Palace match, which lost 2-1 over the weekend, Hammers Hierarchy was hoping Potter could score four of the five points heading into the next international break from the next three games.
However, after losing to the palace and coming next with tricky exterior fixtures against Everton and Arsenal, Potter’s future is questionable.
West Ham is currently looking for a new manager in case he has to make a decision to plunder Potter. Now, Gibemesport claims Burnley’s boss parka has “emerged as a shock management target after the “talk.”
Nuno Espirito Santo, Slaven Bilic and Gary O’Neil could also be the next West Ham managers, and it is now understood that Parker’s name is being debated at the top level within the Hammer hierarchy, trying to plan ways to get out of the crisis.

The rivals to Parker’s job don’t need compensation as they are all free agents, but Burnley’s boss still has two years left on his contract at Turf Moor.
Former Manchester United and Tottenham Scout Mick Brown are still well connected in the Premier League, but are considered “cool” by their actions
Brown told Football Insider:
“When Moyesey was there, they would oppose his wishes many times and talk to other managers while he was in work.

“That was something that was not allowed a few years ago. You would have been accused of being very rude, but it doesn’t seem to matter to them.
“To be honest, it’s a dishonorable way for the club to act and it all goes public.
“Regardless of whether they plunder Potter or when they do it, interviewing other managers and inviting them to the chair’s house while he is still at work shows that there is absolutely no respect for him.
“Sadly, this is those behaviors, so it won’t surprise me, but with all this going on, I don’t think it’ll be long before Potter is fired.”
