Tottenham appears to be seen trying to fail the Manchester City star. Because he has a new contract in Etihad thanks to his discussions with Pep Guardiola.
The Spurs were interested in signing City Winger Sabigno in the summer. It was reported that they were willing to go beyond their record fees to sign the attackers.
The report also suggests that Brazilians are open to their travel routes. However, City didn’t want to let him go, so Tottenham couldn’t get him.
Thomas Frank’s side suggests he’s interested in landing Savigno if they can get him, but the possibility fell rapidly.
In fact, several outlets, including ESPN, the BBC and insider Fabrizio Romano, have revealed that Savinho is closed to renew the contract.
Tbrfootball insider Graeme Bailey, director of the roles of City Boss Guardiola and football’s Hugo Viana, has made it clear that he will write an extension in his decision.
“After the windows closed, both Guardiola and Viana discussed long periods of time with Savinjo, where he was said to have emphasized his belief to him that he had a major role in playing,” Bailey said.
“They have great faith in his talent and his admiration as a person. Hearing the support he has, Sabigno was persuaded that his future lies in Manchester.”
Previous reports suggested that Savigno was looking for a more consistent football, so they felt they would find it in Tottenham. However, it’s not as if he had been given little time for the game at City that he played 29 Premier League games last season and started 21 of them.

He scored once and assisted 10 times in those games.
Sabigno has just returned from an injury this season, playing just 161 minutes in all competitions.
He scored in a 2-0 League Cup victory over Hudders Field. This is just the second start of the season and if he can continue his form, he will certainly maintain his position on his side.
It’s obviously something Guardiola wants from him, and it seems unlikely that he agreed to the renewal, as he was not given the assurance he wanted.
