According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner will take on the job of Reuben Amorim at Man Wood “in Heartbeat.”
The Red Devils are now 14th in the Premier League, finishing first in the nightmare 2024/25 campaign after a 3-1 loss at Brentford over the weekend.
Man Utd failed to track a good victory against Chelsea last week, highlighting the struggle for consistency in Amorim’s era at the club.
Over the past few weeks, there have been rumours that Ineos and Jim Ratcliffe ir have revealed that European football qualifications are the smallest expected of Amorim this season.
It seems like a long way to go now, and Amorim is under pressure to turn things around with rumours that if a man boss is fired it’s not now a “when” issue.
Many managers are already linked to that position in hopes that Man Utd will be able to take some action in the near future and that Crystal Palace’s Glasner will be on the way.

The Austrian won the South London side of the FA Cup last season and experienced a palace as he now runs in 18 matches without losing in all competitions.
There were signs of dissatisfaction between Glasner and the Crystal Palace Committee over recruitment and ambition. Former CBS sports journalist Jacobs claimed that if the Austrian offered it, he would take on the Mann UTD job.
Jacobs said on Talksport:
“As a result, Manchester United feel they have a quality manager and anyone with Premier League experience will be happy to travel. There are options close to home.
“I don’t think that Glasner’s playing a system similar to Reuben Amorim would really put Manchester United off.
“I think sometimes what Reuben Amorim did is that he makes tactically wrong decisions, wrong choices, wrong pairing and chemistry. So, even within this system, is it another way for Cobbie Mine to get more game time?
“Reuben Amorim’s challenge at Manchester United was not only to make the most of the system, but also to play together with all of his best players in comfort.
“Glasner has a track record of lower budgets and greater constraints in the Premier League, as he is shown at Bournemouth, as he is shown at Fulham, Marco) Silva has a track record of lower budgets and greater constraints.

Merson reveals why the “unbelievable” man UTD star flops as Amorim.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Amorim is “absolutely unsafe,” but he has rejected the talk of a meeting with Gareth Southgate and other managers.
Romano said on his YouTube channel: “I wanted to mention Manchester United. I had a few questions about Manchester United’s work and today. I got a lot of questions about Manchester United’s hierarchy already meeting Gareth Southgate.
“My understanding from Manchester United sources is performing all the reports that Ir Jim Ratcliffe, or anyone at the club, has already officially met with Gareth Southgate to discuss the possibility that the former England boss could become the new Manchester United manager.
“I’m not aware of the meeting, I’m not aware of the direct contacts, I’m not aware of the negotiations. Yesterday I said that the relationship between people at Ineos is very good with Gareth Southgate.
“I don’t know the proposal, I don’t realize that Manchester United is going around and wanting to be a manager, Southgate or someone else to be your new boss.
“Man United, a huge number of managers, still respects manager Reuben Amorim, and is waiting to see the improvements they really need, starting with the next game.
“So the situation with Reuben Amorim remains. I certainly want to see it. I’m not saying that Amorim is absolutely safe here. Amorim’s work is absolutely not safe at this moment, because Man United wants to see the outcome.
“Wait. Let’s see what happens. But certainly the next game is important for Reuben Amorim.”
