Former Manchester United winger Antony believes the club has “disregarded” him by kicking the club out of the club in the summer transfer window.
Antony goes down as one of the Red Devils’ worst signatures to date.
He joined Ajax’s Man Utd at the transfer window in the summer of 2023 for about £80 million and made his debut with Arsenal, making his start.
But that was as good as it was gained for the Brazilians at Old Trafford.
In total, Antony registered 12 goals and five assists in 96 appearances in all competitions that won the Carabao Cup in 2022/23 and the FA Cup in 2023/24.
What’s even worse about Antony’s signature is that it’s available for about half the price two months before he joined, and Ajax has significantly increased their asking price after losing several star players in the summer 2023 windows.
After losing his favor under Mann UTD head coach Reuben Amorim, Antony joined Real Betis on loan for the second half of his final campaign.
He was very impressive and left the Red Devils and became one of the newest players to shine elsewhere.

Impressed by the six months of spell in Seville, the Laliga club were eager to sign him forever after helping Betis reach the final of the Europa Conference League.
Betis felt like the only realistic option for Antony over the summer, but Man Wood hugged over £20 million.
Ultimately, Betis spent £20 million to land the 25-year-old forever, playing four times this season, scoring one goal and supporting both goals, and coming in last week’s Europa League involvement against Nottingham Forest.
After returning to Spain, Antony settled down well and discussed the “severe” summer he endured in Manchester.
The previous Ajax Forward says that after returning to the preseason, he felt “disregarded” by the club after being placed in Amorim’s “bomb squad” when he trained separately from his first team.
“They’ve been a very tough month in the UK and trained separately at the hotel for over 40 days… I feel like they’ve taken a light-hearted scorn on me, but that’s not the point,” he told Spanish outlet Onda Cero.
“I don’t want to make any controversy, that’s life. I’m very grateful to the club. There were bad times, but there were good times with two titles.
“My family traveled to Seville 4-5 days before the transaction was completed. We had them rent a house.”
