According to Robert Piers, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta will be fired at the end of the season if the Gunners do not win the Premier League title.
The Gunners missed winning Liverpool’s Premier League title last season.
Arsenal ended with a 10-point lead over Liverpool in the previous quarter, but in reality, the Reds have made their way to the title months before the end of the campaign.
This season could be his best chance to win the title at Liverpool, now two points behind, after beating Newcastle United during an injury at St. James Park.
Arsenal once again spent a lot of money on eight new signatures with Kepa Alizabaraga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgado, Noni Madueke, Christian Mosquera, Victor Gyoker, Eberochi Eze and Piero Hincapie.
And the former Arsenal Wingerpier thinks that if Arteta fails to get the gunner to finish at the top spot of the season, he “will definitely see a change in the bench.”

Pires told Foot Mercato: “In my opinion, if Arsenal doesn’t win the trophy this year, management will consider finding another coach.
“He was there for five years and unfortunately the title escaped him. What matters to the fans is the championship.
“The money was spent during the summer transfer period, and he made certain requests that were met by the Arsenal Committee.
“If Arsenal can’t win the championship, I think there will definitely be a change in the bench.
“It’s not easy because we have Liverpool. There’s Man City there and Chelsea won’t be that late. But I think Arsenal will hold the cards and the players will win the title.”

Arsenal invested an additional £55 million in Gyoker this summer with a performance-related add-on, with Swedish International scoring three goals in eight appearances in all competitions.
Analyzing Gyoker’s performance in the UK so far, Pires added:
“He scored after scoring a goal for Portugal. Today in the Premier League, the defenders you face are much tougher and much more rougher than in the Portuguese League.
“So, that’s not easy. And Arsenal has this desire to be the British champion, so it’s not easy.”
