WASHINGTON (AP) — The Trump administration said Wednesday it has pending about $18 billion to fund it New Railway Tunnel The city and the city has expanded between New York and New Jersey Second Avenue Subway Project for Government closure.
Las Vote, White House Budget Director, said in a post on X that the stage was taken because of the Republican administration’s belief that the money was “based on the principles of unconstitutional DEI,” and because of the belief that it was a reference to diversity, equity and inclusion.
However, the administrative authorities, who were not authorized to publicly discuss the matter, said the government’s closure means that money was on hold as employees in the transportation division responsible for reimbursing workers on the project were abandoned.
The funding halt could be aimed at targeting New York Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer.
In a 2023 interview with The Associated Press, Schumer said he and then President Joe Biden were both “funny” about the Railway Tunnel Project, adding that this was all they talked about in the President’s Limos when they got on the site.
