Arsenal legend Paul Mason claims that Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner is “all wrong” for the Red Devils and “not a “good fit” for Man UTD in his system.
The Red Devils are struggling again in the Premier League this season after Reuben Amorim led them to the worst finish ever in the Premier League era.
After finishing the campaign on the 15th last year, Man UTD hasn’t made much better for the campaign, now the 14th of Amorim’s side, after a 3-1 loss to Brentford.
There are reports that Red Devils’ “Horror” Amorim will resign before Glasner is pushed to other claims that he “eyes are set” as Glasner has refused another contract renewal offer at Crystal Palace.
Glasner, Fabian Hazeler of Brighton, Marco Silva of Fulham, Andoni Iraora of Bournemouth and former England boss Gareth Southgate are among the names linked to the Old Trafford Hot Seat.
As Amorim is still at work, Manson thinks that if Glassner plunders the Portuguese head coach and replaces him, then Glassner is the wrong fit.

Speaking about Glasner, Marson told Sky Sports:
“He’s a great manager. He’s not getting too up and doesn’t fall too far. It’s very impressive. He brings the team together and they’re all very comfortable in their positions. Everyone knows how to work with the team. He has players in the system and it’s huge.
“Let’s say Reuben Amorim was the manager of Palace Now. He could have been half successful. Palace can play three players in the back. They have the attributes to play in that system.
“For me, that’s why I’m worried about Glasner going to Man Utd. He’s a three-back guy and has proven to be a system that doesn’t fit Man UTD players.

Man UTD, blamed on the Southgate plan, is considered a “deep concern” that is likely to force change with Sunderland’s losses
“Glasner is not suitable for Man Utd.
“Of course I’m sure he can adapt and it’s proven by how he handles players, but the system he uses is all wrong for United. Amorim can tell you that.
“I’m not in a hurry to Glasner. I think he’s fine at the moment where he’s. But there’s probably going to be a problem if Man Utd calls.
“For many years, it has proven that people cannot refuse unity.
“What’s going on with the club is not great, but its name is still one of the biggest clubs in the world. How do you turn it down? You don’t.
“How many times will this guy come in his lifetime? Ask Reuben Amorim. He wanted to wait for him to join in the summer, but you moved in quickly because you might not have a chance again.
“Managers going to United will know they are cutting out their work, but they still don’t turn down the opportunity.
“It may never come again.”
