Reports say Nottingham Forest is “highly likely” to plunder Ange Postcogle after a 2-0 defeat to Newcastle United on Sunday, and he says he is “not” now.
The Reds fired Nuno Espirito Santo during an international break in September after scoring four points from three Premier League fixtures in the new season.
Forest decided to hire former Tottenham boss Post Kogul in his place after the Australian left the Spurs at the end of the previous term despite winning the Europa League.
Since Post-Coglu took over, Nottingham Forest has scored another point from four Premier League matches, losing to championship side Swansea City in the League Cup, scoring one point in two Europa League matches.
The Post-Coglu and Tottenham bosses were in their disastrous first seven matches in all competitions after their latest defeat to Newcastle on Sunday.
After the match, he said:

“If people want to rate me in three and a half weeks, there’s nothing I can do about it. At the same time, there’s nothing wrong with things being difficult – it’s fine!
“I had options. I was sitting on the couch today watching the game and maybe I wasn’t in the middle of the game. I’m rather here. I love fighting.
“If the people outside don’t think I’m the right person, or if they don’t think of it internally, it doesn’t make a difference to me. I took this role knowing it would be a big challenge in terms of what we’re trying to do and changing the direction of the club.”
“Nothing has changed in the last three and a half weeks. I love the challenge of taking this club where I need it. I’m sure we’ll get there.”

In Nottingham Forest, there was a report on the future of Post-Coglue. This argues that the Australians have fallen into an international break in the future with former Manchester United Chief Mick Brown, who is still well connected in the Premier League, “probably not.”
Brown told Football Insider:
“Given how the owner works, he’s not afraid to pull the trigger if things aren’t working. It’s obviously not that at this point.
“When you get into an international break, you probably give them a few weeks to sort things out and find someone else.
“They come out from behind a great season, so this season will always be tough.
“Even if Nuno is in charge, I don’t know if it matches what they did last time.
“Now Postecoglou comes in and he wants to change their entire style of play. They went from a defensively solid counter attacking side to the other side.
“That style didn’t work in Tottenham. It wasn’t working in Forest, so the owners look at it and worry about the outcome because they weren’t enough.
“The problem is that you lose some games and the sky suddenly falls above you.
“They seem to have a lecture, manager and owner, so it didn’t work exactly for Nuno, so we’ll see what happens.”
