Man UTD midfielder Mason Mount claims that the Red Devils team is “with their manager” despite rumours about Reuben Amorim’s future.
The Red Devils defeated Sunderland 2-0 over the weekend, giving Amorim a big boost after a week of speculation about his future at the club.
Man Utd is currently 10th in the Premier League table and reportedly said Amorim must compete in Europe this season.
There were rumours that Amorim’s job could be threatened if Man Utd lost a lot to Sunderland on Saturday, but fortunately, the Portuguese head coach put his team in a decent display.
When asked whether rumors of Amorim, which could be plundered, had an impact on the dressing room of male UTDs, Mount said: “No. For us, it’s just focusing on what the manager wants, and it’s in training, and when it comes to the game, it’s doing exactly what he wanted.
“Everyone did their part and responsibility and it was a good performance, and I think they went a little crazy in the second half.

Mount added: “Obviously, even this season, we’ve had ups and downs, but we’re together, and we’re with our manager and with our staff and we’re continuing to move forward.”
The Man utd midfielder continues: “I have a good relationship with my manager. I don’t think it’s better than all the other young people. I think I’ve had the experience of shaping similar to what he likes, like he’s played before (at Chelsea).
“So, knowing the role and what he wants from the team resonates with me because I did it before, so I think that is obviously something I understand.
“I think every player understands that now. But at first, especially since I know the position, he might be able to lean on me.”

Former Tottenham boss Tim Sherwood liked what he saw from Mann UTD against Sunderland, where Senne Lanmen and Benjamin Sesco impressed him.
Sherwood said on Sky Sports: “I’ll keep saying that, the system doesn’t win the game. The player wins the game. We’ve talked a lot about the Man UTD system, but today Amorim makes the most of the individual on the pitch.
“It’s mostly going straight to the centre forward who wants the ball and having the players around him help him.”
Sherwood added: “Mann United plays directly for Sesco. I’ve never seen him see him. I want to see that. They don’t ask Lemen to play.
