Manchester United are willing to accept a deal worth around £30m for Joshua Zirkzee in the January transfer window, according to reports.
The Red Devils invested heavily in their attack in the summer transfer window, signing Matheus Cunha, Brian Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesco for a total of around £200m.
Zirksee and Rasmus Heilund faced a lot of criticism last season after only scoring seven goals in the Premier League.
Hoylund left Man United on loan to Serie A champions Napoli during the summer, but Zirksee has been given a new chance to develop and become part of Ruben Amorim’s team.
However, the Dutch national team has been dropped in the standings by new players and has played in all competitions four times.
Zirksee, who joined from Bologna in a deal worth £36.5m, has yet to start a Man United game this season and could seek more minutes ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

A number of Serie A clubs, in addition to Premier League clubs West Ham and Everton, have expressed interest in Zirksee ahead of the January transfer window.
Football Insider claim Man United are “open to” a deal worth around £30m for Zirksee in order to cut their losses on the Dutchman.
Former Manchester City financial advisor Stefan Bolson believes it was “not a complete disaster” for Man United as they were able to recoup most of the fees they paid.
Bolson told Football Insider: “Well, he’s a very sellable player. I mean, they didn’t pay £60-70 million for him. They paid £30-40 million.”

“His wages are probably at a manageable level. He was a decent player. He wasn’t a complete disaster. I think there are signs he might be worth £30m to someone.”
“I think the only teams in this world that could afford a loan for £30 million or even a £30 million deal are the Evertons and West Hams of this world.”
Bolson added: “I think it’s very possible that he leaves. He hasn’t had much game time this season, so unless he joins the team, I think that type of contract is likely to happen in January or the summer.”
“But it’s a very viable deal. United won’t make a lot of money on this, but they won’t lose much either. They’ll just move on to signing players outside of their core group. I think it makes sense.”
Football Insider also claimed that Man United will “do everything in their power to prevent Koby Mainu from leaving the club in January”, adding that the midfielder is also struggling for game time.
