Newcastle fans will have a once-in-a-lifetime chance to get their hands on a limited edition Adidas SPZL trainer this week.
The club’s kit partnership with Adidas has already proven beneficial for the club, bringing in more funding than previous partner Castro and widening the range of merchandise available for fans to purchase.
The global sports brand is set to further delight its fans with the stunning new launch of special retro adidas Newcastle United hoodies, jackets, t-shirts and very special limited edition trainers.
Adidas has announced that special trainers for Celtic, Aston Villa and Newcastle will be released on Thursday 16th October, with the limited editions expected to sell out quickly.
This isn’t the first time Adidas has released a special club. Last year, Leeds fans were able to purchase special edition trainers and a full range of leisurewear including hoodies, jackets, T-shirts and more as part of the club’s partnership with Adidas.
Newcastle will be next on Adidas’ release calendar, with all limited stock products available for sale on the Adidas website for fans of the club to pick up immediately.
The big reveal is the Newcastle United SPZL trainer, which features a black design with three white stripes. The trainers feature the Newcastle badge and the words ‘Newcastle United’ in gold trim. A classic SPZL gum sole completes the look of the limited edition trainer.
The rest of the Spezial Collection has not been revealed, but previous releases suggest it will feature a retro-style design, with simple three stripes on the sleeves and an old version of Newcastle United’s badge.
The full collection will be available on the adidas website on October 16th, alongside the Aston Villa and Celtic collections.
