Manchester United are reported to have joined “every major club in England” in a bid to sign Crystal Palace centre-back Marc Guehi, who will join him this summer.
Guehi’s departure is confirmed to be away from Palace next season. His contract is up at the end of the season, and the Eagles have made it clear the center back wants to move on.
“They offered Marc a new contract and he said, ‘No, I want something different,’ which is normal,” manager Oliver Glasner said in October.
He is thought to be most likely to end up with a move to Liverpool, where he almost moved in the summer, but Palace withdrew the move after his replacement chose to move to another club.
However, elite European teams such as Real Madrid and Bayern Munich give the Reds competition.
Now it’s not just United, but other big clubs in England as well.
TB Football reports that the Red Devils are ready to step into the ring for Guehi, but the defender himself knows there is plenty of time between now and the end of the season and is not in a hurry to decide on his future.

Insider Graham Bailey said: “I said a few months ago that Marc Guehi would be one of the Bosman’s most sought-after free transfers, and that’s shaping up to be the case.
“He is currently wanted by all the major clubs in England, including Manchester United, but overseas he is being watched by some of the biggest names in world football, from Real Madrid and Barcelona to Bayern Munich and Inter Milan. He will make his choice.
“But I’ve been told he’s as relaxed as he is on the pitch. He reflects that off the pitch as well, which is another big part of his appeal. His personality is a big reason why all these clubs would have no hesitation in signing him.”
This differs from other media reports, with Fichajes (not the most reliable outlet) stating that Gehi is aiming to move to an elite club like Real Madrid, while the Insider X account states that the centre-back has his “heart set” on joining Liverpool.
Given that Guehi is wanted by some of the world’s biggest clubs, it is almost certain that he will move up in the world if he leaves Palace.
