Manchester United legend Gary Neville is still not convinced about signing Benjamin Sesco this summer after the Red Devils drew 2-2 with Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The Red Devils took the lead in the 34th minute with Casemiro’s header from a corner kick, and Forest equalized just after half-time with a superb header from Morgan Gibbs-White.
And just two minutes after Gibbs-White scored, Nottingham Forest doubled their lead with a goal from Nicolo Savona to seal their first Premier League win since Sean Dyche arrived at the City Ground.
However, Manchester United spoiled the celebrations with a stunning volley from Amad Diallo nine minutes from time, giving Ruben Amorim’s side a share of the spoils.
One player who has had little impact on Manchester United’s games is Sesco, who joined the Red Devils from RB Leipzig in the summer in a deal worth around £74 million.
Manchester United’s Sesco failed to score in his fifth game and when asked to analyze the Slovenian’s performance, Neville told NBC Sports: “I can’t go any further on him. The jury is out.”

“Compared to the other summer signings Manchester United have brought up front,[Mateus]Cunha and[Brian]Mbeumo, he’s doing quite well.
“He looks awkward, he had some really good chances in the first half when the ball was played over the top and the touch wasn’t quite right.
“For £80m, you could say he is young, has a lot of potential and is just starting to settle in, but you would still want to see a little more.”
Manchester United manager Amorim believes his side are still making satisfactory progress despite the end of their three-game winning streak at the City Ground.
Speaking after the draw with Forest, Amorim said: “If you think about the game, we lost control for five minutes.
“If we had been in a situation recently where we lost 1-0 to 2-1, I think we would have struggled a lot more than we did today.
“My feeling is we played well, but we lost a little bit of energy. When we’re full of energy, we’re a better team.
“Our players are giving their best, but we can do more and sometimes we have those moments.
“In the end, we conceded two points, so we need to get three points in the next game.”

Regarding Amad, who scored the equalizer, Amorim added: “Amad has a lot of talent and is developing really quickly. I think we have a lot of young and talented players, but we need to help him with the little details. He has developed a lot, he can play in different positions and I think he can get even better.”
“He’s become more consistent in every little detail, when he receives the ball, when he’s in the build-up, when he’s in the final third. You saw in the first half that he had some chances. In a lot of games, he’s taking those chances inside, but the shots aren’t there yet. We’re working on that, so he has the potential to get better.”
