Tottenham Hotspur players are already “tired” of head coach Thomas Frank and a transfer request has been sent to club leaders, according to reports.
Former Brentford manager Frank joined Spurs ahead of this season, replacing Ange Postecoglou, but had a mixed start at the Premier League club.
Frank has made Spurs stronger and their results in the Premier League have improved dramatically, but the last few days have been really poor.
Spurs were eliminated in the Carabao Cup in midweek with a 2-0 loss to Newcastle United, but on Saturday night they lost 1-0 to London rivals Chelsea.
Tottenham were lucky to only lose 1-0 against Chelsea, but Chelsea were a much better team and could have easily scored a few more goals.

After the game, there was an awkward exchange between Frank and the two players, and the pressure seemed to be mounting on the head coach.
Spurs are currently fourth in the Premier League, but Frank reportedly does not have the backing of the players and could end up fighting a losing battle with the north London outfit.
A report from a respected account on X by a “team of five elite reporters” claims the team is “desperate” for a January deal while “bored” with Frank.
They tweeted: EXCLUSIVE: According to a source close to the Spurs player: “𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞.” 𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬. 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐬𝐧𝐨𝐞𝐱𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭. Follow “𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬” “

Jed Spence and Micky van de Ven were among the players who appeared to have disdain for Frank, with Alan Shearer subsequently commenting on the exchange, calling Spurs “embarrassing” for Chelsea.
“They (Tottenham) were embarrassed. They were booed off the pitch,” Shearer said on the BBC’s Match of the Day.
“I understand they want to go out, get off the pitch, go into the locker room and say sorry later.
“I understand that and I understand that. As much as Thomas Frank likes to thank the fans and applaud them, I can also understand the opinion that the players have done something really bad and want to get off the pitch as soon as possible.”
Former Premier League centre-back Ashley Williams added: “I don’t think it’s… (a big problem). We need to play better, that’s the most important thing.”
“We played badly in the derby. They want to get back in the dressing room. They’re frustrated. It’s nothing personal to the manager or the fans. They just want to get in.”
