Sponsors will contribute to Manchester United’s efforts to sign Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Junior in the summer transfer window, according to reports.
The Red Devils spent more than £200m on five new players in the summer transfer window, mainly to improve their attack following a disastrous 2024/25 season.
And despite a shaky start to the season, Ruben Amorim’s side have gone unbeaten in five Premier League games, and it seems to be paying off on the pitch.
Man United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS are looking to build on that over the next few transfer windows as they aim to win the Premier League title by 2028.
Earlier this week, it was reported that Manchester United are preparing to offer €200 million for Real Madrid winger Vinicius Junior as a potential signing for next summer.
This comes after the Brazilian had to apologize for his reaction to being substituted in El Clasico against Barcelona earlier this season after a strained relationship with Xabi Alonso.

“I’m leaving the team, I better leave, I’m leaving the team,” Vinicius Junior was heard saying as he left the pitch during Real Madrid’s 2-1 win over Barcelona.
The La Liga giants were already having difficulties renewing the Brazilian player’s contract, but there are rumors that he may be considering a move to the Premier League this summer.
And now, according to reports in Spain, Vinicius Junior has so far chosen to “reject all contract renewal offers” made by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
He wants to play for the same amount as French superstar Kylian Mbappé, but many at Real Madrid think that is “totally unfair”.
“Undeterred” by Real Madrid’s offer of €200m (approximately £176m) for the Brazilian, Man United were “convinced that Amorim is the star they need in their attack and have recommended to the board that they consider signing him as the new focus of their project”.
Manchester United can afford to sign him and “have the support of a brand that is willing to contribute their own money.” Snapdragon, the shirt’s main sponsor, is willing to “expend its own money” to “cover the costs” of signing Vinicius Junior.

Premier League rivals Chelsea were also linked with a move for Vinicius Junior, but transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has rubbished the speculation in recent days.
Romano said: “From Spain in the last few days… I have to say, as is often the case during international breaks, we have also seen a connection between Vinicius Junior and Chelsea.”
“According to some reports in Spain, Vini is probably one of the players Chelsea are considering if they decide to leave Real Madrid.
“Guys, what I can say is that it’s not about the quality of this player, it’s not about whether you like a player like Vinicius or not. But Chelsea are going in a different direction.”
“They are going in the direction of new players like Estevao, Cole Palmer, Dainar Ordonez. Chelsea are going in that direction. Talented players, of course important players who are ready to make an impact, but in the case of Vinicius there is also an opportunity…The salaries and costs of the final contract will be huge. Chelsea are going in a different direction.”
“I always say, remember the contract we signed with Viktor Osimhen from the summer of 2024. Chelsea were in talks to sign Osimhen, but decided not to proceed because they didn’t want to change their salary structure.”
“Salaries are very important when you talk about Chelsea and when you talk about Chelsea transfer news.”
