Blink49 Studios, the Canadian production group backed by Fifth Season, is staffing up in formats and branded content.
The company has hired former Warner Bros. exec Adam Steinman and Adam Puchalsky, who previously worked at Kevin Hart’s Hartbeat.
Steinman has spent the last couple of years under an overall deal at Walt Disney Television Alternative through his company Mount Royal Films after joining from Warner Bros. International Television Production, where he spent over 13 years working on formats such as The Bachelor and Impractical Jokers.
Based in LA, he has been tasked with identifying, acquiring, and developing entertainment formats in scripted and unscripted. He will report to Tara Long, President of Global Unscripted, and Pancho Mansfield, President of Scripted.
Puchalsky has named President, Brand Studio and has been tasked with creating brand-driven content. Based in New York, he has also worked at Wavemaker and UM Studios.
