Reports say Newcastle is ready to submit its third “offer” to Jorgen Strand Larsen after rejecting the bid on Tuesday evening.
Newcastle was chosen elsewhere by Liam Dellup, Joa Pedro, James Ekitique, James Trafford, Benjamin Sesco, Brian Mbemo and Matthew Kunha.
Magpies are also faced with the loss of Alexander Isaac, eager to travel to Liverpool, after a “secret story” with the striker fails to change his mind at the exit.
While Isaac’s broken relationship with Newcastle may be beyond repair, they remained bullish about their attitude about his exit, in reports claiming they value him at £150 million.
Still, the Magpies seem to lay the foundation for Isaac to leave as they work hard to land one or two new strikers, focusing on signing Premier League rivals wolves Larsen.

The 25-year-old enjoyed a wolf breakout season in 2024/25, earning 14 goals and four assists in the Premier League, avoiding relegation.
Larsen scored the mark for the new season on Tuesday night, earning a late brace as the wolves fought from behind and knocked West Ham out of the Carabao Cup.
The striker had this effect after it was revealed that Newcastle had failed to bid for Main Striker Target’s £55 million.
Now, Newcastle’s despair is revealed to be “ready to offer” to Larsen, so journalist Nicolo Silla makes it clear that the contract until 2030 is also “ready to”.

In advance, Jan Aage Fjørtoft revealed Larsen’s “very clear” verdict on his move to Newcastle. He states in X:
“Jorgen Strand Larsen is very clear about what he wants to do with this contract. He wants to play for Newcastle United.”
Meanwhile, Athletic David Ornstein revealed on Wednesday morning that Larsen is “eager to travel to Newcastle, but is “unsettled” due to the exit from the wolves.
Ornstein explained:
The “Wolf” attitude leaves a bid for Norwegian International this summer, given his importance to the club, leaving him with not enough time left to find a replacement ready to play in the Premier League. Strandlersen wants to move to St James Park, but is not upset by the move out of respect for the wolf.
“Newcastle sees Strand Larsen as a replacement for Callum Wilson, who wants to leave the club and hasn’t appeared on the side this season, but for Callum Wilson, who left the club at the end of his contract earlier this summer.”
