Jamie Rednap is a “double barrel idiot,” according to Lord Alan Sugar, who threatened to sue critics for his allegations that Tottenham was “a complete mess” before Daniel Levy took charge.
Levi left the club after 25 years of service during an international break, and although Tottenham’s official statement claimed he had “resigned,” it was later allegedly pushed him out of the club.
The 63-year-old has been heavily criticised by Spurs fans during his tenure over his failure to turn profits into results and silverware, and believes his exit is now a major sway in the club’s desire to focus on football.

Levi oversaw the development and moved to a new £1.2 billion stadium and cutting-edge training grounds, but the Spurs won just two trophies at that point. The 2008 League Cup and the Europa League last season.
Sugar, who had been with the Spurs for ten years before Levy arrived, was in charge of his 1991 FA Cup victory and his 1999 League Cup victory.
However, Rednap claimed that Sugar left Tottenham in “a total mess” and praised the “great work” Levy did to turn the club around and set it up for success.
“I was critical of Daniel Levy. There were some highs that I didn’t like how he was run,” Rednap, 52, said before kickoff.
“But he did an incredible job there when it comes to training grounds, facilities, infrastructure and (architecture) one of the best football stadiums in the world.
“Daniel Levy left it in a really great way. (Chief Executive Officer) Vinai (Venkatesham) knows that, and I think the people in charge now really can see this club and move forward.”

Just 21 minutes after Sky posted a clip of Rednap’s comments, the sugar hit X, threatening legal action against experts and broadcasters.
He writes: He talks about a lot of garbage.
“When Daniel Levi took over the Spurs, he said Alan Sugar left the club amidst the right chaos. He and Skye are hearing from my lawyer @redknapp on Monday.
The account tagged by Sugar is from Jamie’s father, Harry Rednap. Sugar made it right in a subsequent post.
