Reports show that Liverpool head coach Arne Slot is “worried” about one of his summer signatures, but critics have explained his “problems.”
Liverpool issued a statement in the transfer window this summer as it invested more than £400 million in signatures and more than £400 million in Alexander Isaac, Florian Wiltz, Hugo Echicchique, Jeremy Fripon, Milos Kerquez and Giovanni Leoni.
Initially, the business was suggested to make Liverpool unstoppable in the Premier League this season, but they had difficulty starting this campaign.
As a result of these additions and some notable exits, the slot adjusted Liverpool’s playstyle and had teething issues. The British giants won their first five Premier League matches before their recent defeats against Crystal Palace and Galatasaray.
So slots are being scrutinized at Anfield for the first time, and he is eager to bounce back on Saturday as he faces Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Prior to the game, a report from football insider Pete O’Rourke claimed that slots were “concerned” about Wirtz, who has not yet gained or grabbed assists.
“There’s probably a bit of concern. I think there’s a lot of concern from the slots. I think there’s a lot of concern from Wirtz,” O’Rourke told Football Insider.

“He’s not the only person with that Liverpool team struggling with form, but obviously his price and reputation brings more scrutiny to Wirtz.
“He hasn’t scored or supported any of his Premier League or Champions League appearances so far, which is surprising given how impressive he is for Leverkusen.
“Liverpool has to be patient, they need him to get a little bit of acclimated to his new environment and get a calm run with his team.
“He needs a calm position too. Slots need to settle where his best position on this Liverpool team is and give him time to adapt to the way they play. He’s a quality player, and there’s no doubt about that.
“We’re sure that once he gets used to the pace of the Premier League and plays with his new team at Liverpool, that’s what we’re sure that such a top player will definitely find his form.”

Pundit Owen Hargreaves explained why I think Wirtz’s early seasonal misery in Liverpool is due to “balance issues.”
“They were really good last year. They looked like they should have blown everyone away. This year they signed a really good player, but when you pay that, you’re going to get him,” Hargreaves explained.
“But in fact, that mid-3 was the best in the league last year. We couldn’t get any better than Ryan Gravenberch, Alexis Mac Alistair and Dominique Schizobosilai.
“All of a sudden you spend that money on Florian and you really have to play him. They tried to take him with you, and Szoboszlai played right away. I think the balance is off.
“I think it’s a balance issue. They have two new fullbacks. Wirtz, the addition of Alexander Isak. You need to think they have so many great players. That goes back to the Arsenal Ateta one. You just need to get the balance of the game.”
