Reports show that Man Utd is increasingly “unhappy” about how Director Ruben Amorim deals with certain media situations.
The Red Devils had their first nightmare campaign under the Portuguese boss, with Amorim taking a 15th place finish in the Premier League, blew the only chance of European qualifications by losing the Europa League final to Tottenham.
Man Utd is currently in ninth place this season after scoring four points in a match against Fulham and Burnley on several close calls, but it was unlucky to lose 1-0 to Arsenal over the opening weekend.
Bruno Fernandez reportedly beat the newly promoted Burnley at Old Trafford 3-2, and it is reportedly proven “fatal” for Amorim to miss European football this season.
It’s not just performance and results that have made the Man Utd hierarchy on GivemeSport, claiming that the “unfortunate” board “want Amorim tone down his emotional public explosion.”
Amorim’s decision, claiming that Kobbie Mainoo will compete with Bruno Fernandes for the starting spot this season, caused collateral damage that could have been made when Red Devils’ top brass negotiated an unwieldy end for the summer window.

GivemeSport adds that there is “growing” and “growth” that Amorim needs to be more careful about what he says in front of the camera before and after the match.
Former male UTD Chief Scout Mick Brown is still well connected to Old Trafford, but the Red Devils believe they have to ask Amorim “more questions” if they don’t beat Man City or Chelsea after the international break.
Brown told Football Insider: “A victory is a victory at the end of the day. But when you dominate the game and end up relying on a penalty in the final moments, I don’t think anyone has confidence in their managers from a 3-2 victory.

“That’s not the type of outcome I think they can build on it. That’s what he needs to do. He has to put together a series of outcomes and keep them in shape.”
“They need to keep winning the game, and that’s how you can ease the pressure.
“After the international break, it’s Man City and then they got Chelsea, so it won’t be easy. It’s very easy to start the season, and before you know where you’re, you lose three or four games and suddenly you’re falling to the table.
“At this point, he’s just cracking, but the victory over Burnley isn’t enough to convince people who have turned the corner. Those Man City and Chelsea games will be big for him.
“Even if he loses those games, they won’t necessarily plunder him, because at this point it should be expected, but more questions will be asked.”
