Reuben Amorim claims that Grimsby was “the only team on the pitch” as Manchester United was dumped from the League Cup after being defeated by the League 2 side in a penalty.
United’s three divisions and 56 location were 2-0 after 30 minutes, with goalkeeper Andre Onana allowing Charles Burnham’s intense drive under his body at an angle, not defending him from his teammates.
Amorim made a change at halftime, with Captain Bruno Fernandez, Mattigis de Liguto and Brian Mbemo all coming in, but Grimsby probably had three goals for Good, as Harry Maguire’s intervention seemed to be a gradual attempt to play the ball to play the ball rather than trying to raise his flag.

After Mbeumo brought them back into the game with fine dribbling and finishing, it was Maguire who took the game to a penalty shootout with a typical final gasp header when United needed him the most.
However, after missing out on that spot for Matheus Cunha, who was signed by the Summer mate, it was Mbeumo who missed a key penalty to help Grimsby win.

And Amorim, who was swaying left and right on the bench throughout the firefight, refrained from criticizing United after the match, claiming that he “talked out loud today” and “completely lost.”
He told Sky Sports: “It doesn’t matter if you recover or not. It’s a sign your team gave you during the game and it’s the beginning of the game. I think the best team won.

Asked for clarity, Amorim added: “I think what they said is really clear, so let’s move on from today. I think what happened today was clear to everyone.”
“How we start the game without intensity, all the ideas of pressure, we’ve lost it completely, so I think they really spoke loudly.”
