Apple today launched its iPhone 17 series at the “Awe-Dropping” event, with the base model being upgraded.
The iPhone 17 has a slightly larger screen, 6.3 inches, compared to the 6.1 inch screen on the iPhone 16. The display has been upgraded with promotions, which is the first time it’s been used on the base model.
It supports a 120 Hz refresh rate and dynamically switches to different refresh rates using LTPO (Cryo-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) technology. The display also has a peak brightness of 3,000 nits to improve external readability. This display is protected by Ceramic Shield 2 with better scratch resistance.
The phone is powered by a 3 nm A19 processor with a new display engine to power the display update.
The iPhone 17 has a new 48 megapixel ultraweed camera. The camera system on mobile phones also powers twice the optical telephoto and better macro photography.
The company has updated its front camera with a new 18-megapixel square sensor. Apple said this allows you to take selfies in a variety of formats without switching orientations. He also said the new Selfie Center could capture more stable videos. The new iPhone 17 front camera also supports call center stage.
This phone is available in lavender, mist blue, black, white and sage colors. The iPhone 17 starts at $799 with 256GB of base storage. The iPhone 16 started at $699 for 128GB. Essentially, the price of comparable models is the same, but you cannot choose the 128GB model.
