Arsenal are reportedly already deciding whether to enter the January market for a new signing after suffering a “severe injury”.
The Gunners have had a fantastic few months, taking advantage of Liverpool’s sudden decline to move to the top of the Premier League after 11 games.
Mikel Arteta’s side had a perfect performance in the group stage of the Champions League and also progressed in the Carabao Cup. They are currently unbeaten in 14 games and haven’t lost since the end of August.
This means Arsenal are currently the clear favorites to win the Premier League, as they hope to end their trophy drought this season, but there is also the possibility of them winning another silver medal.
Arsenal’s chances have been boosted by some excellent additions over the past few years, with a further £250m invested in the summer to complete the squad. Victor Gokeres, Eberechi Eze, Noni Maduke and Martin Zvimendi were among the most notable additions.

Arsenal are therefore more prepared than ever to achieve big wins this season, but the possibility of injury is one of the only factors standing in their way.
It will therefore be worrying for Arsenal supporters that defenders Gabriel Magalhães and Riccardo Calafioli have caused injury concerns during the international break.
Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti publicly apologized to Arteta after Gabriel sustained a kidnapping injury and Calafiori has a groin problem.
As for Calafioli, Fabrizio Romano insists he will be available for Sunday’s north London derby against Spurs.
On Sunday afternoon, Romano told X: “I understand that Arsenal have confirmed the news of the last 24 hours. Riccardo Calafioli will be available for the North London derby. No injuries, no problems. Just overloaded. #AFC.”

The situation surrounding Gabriel is less clear, but Football Insider reports that this “catastrophic injury blow” will not change Arsenal’s transfer “plans” ahead of January.
This is reportedly because the Gunners feel they have adequate cover at centre-back and other positions.
The report explains:
Sources say Arsenal intend to use their impressive depth to solve fitness issues rather than sign a substitute in January.
“One of the things that could derail the Gunners’ campaign is injuries, but Arteta has the necessary depth in his squad to deal with any problems.”Even if Calafiori and Gabriel both miss the north London derby against Tottenham, Arsenal’s first game back after the international break, the likes of Miles Lewis-Skelly and Cristian Mosquera could step up.
