Reports say the £68 million release clause for Arsenal-linked Crystal Palace Maestro Ebeki Eze will expire on August 15th.
Arsenal is currently prioritizing the signature of England International after completing its agreement to sign Sporting CP Striker Viktor Gyoker.
Mikel Arteta has welcomed six new players so far this summer, but is keen to add Eze.
The former Queens Park Rangers young man is reportedly keen on the move, and has been impressed with Selhurst Park since joining the club in 2020, scoring his only goal in last season’s FA Cup final.
His ability to play for No. 8, 10, and either wing makes him a very attractive player for gunner boss Arteta, who spent this summer to finish the club’s five-year major trophy.
Arsenal and the Palace are in talks over a contract to send AIDS to the Emirates, the latter directing their London rivals to the playmaker’s reported £68 million release clause.

The 27-year-old release clause is reportedly worth the first £60 million and £8 million with add-ons.
Arsenal is believed to be willing to pay £20 million in three installments, but the Guardian reported earlier this week that the Eagles wanted “£35 million in advance.”
The report said Eze’s release clause would expire by August 16th, and claimed Talksport would expire “Friday midnight.”
However, a fresh report from Standard Sport states that Eze’s release clause will “expirate on August 15th.”
Reports elsewhere say the English star’s signature “is not conditional on the sale of players,” but here it argues that “Arsenal may need to create space for the team by selling before moving for top targets.
While Reese Nelson discusses with Fulham, Leandro Torosad is most likely to leave in Borussia Dortmund’s interest.
The release clause no longer exists in the last two weeks of the summer window, but it adds that the Palace star player’s rating remains at £68 million.
The report adds: “Arsenal is aware of the situation and has a continuing interest in Eze, who is said to be happy with the palace, but is open to travelling to the Emirates if the opportunity comes true.
“The Gunners will negotiate with the Palace as they discussed Eze’s representatives earlier this summer and evaluated the multipurpose forward under the £68 million release clause.”
Arsenal will play Villarreal and Athletic Club for the Emirates before the Premier League campaign is kicked out by Manchester United on August 17th.
