According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City has received an offer to Adason, who can leave at the club in eight years.
Pep Guardiola confirmed that Ederson is his No. 1 goalkeeper.
However, the Brazilian has not travelled for the Premier League opener, and summer signing James Trafford is scheduled to make his debut in goal.
“Ederson came to me and said he wasn’t saying I wanted to leave, or there’s an offer,” Guardiola said Friday.
“All the players are here, our players, and I work with them… No one knows what’s going to happen!”
The 31-year-old has been linked to the exit all summer, with clubs in Türkiye and Saudi Arabia in Keene.
Details: flaws in gianluigi donnarumma
It has also been reported that interest in unnecessary Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Genreulgi Donnaruma has been reported.
Transfer expert Romano confirmed that the Turkish champion made an opening offer to the former Benfica goalkeeper on Saturday morning.
According to Romano, Man City received an offer worth 10 million euros (£8.6 million), but Guardiola’s side says they want a “higher fee.”
Meanwhile, Donnaruma “already opens the door to city movement.” If he joins, Ederson is free to leave.
Romano was posted on X: “Galatasaray will send its first official bid to Man City for Ederson. The 10 million euro regional proposal will make City seek a higher fee.
“Gigio Donnarumma has already opened the door to city movement. If Edason leaves, if Donnarumma can join #MCFC, it’s fine in personal terms.”
Sky Sports reporters Lyall Thomas & Adrian Kajumba reported Friday that Guardiola hopes Ederson will stay and remain the first choice keeper.
Manchester City hopes Edason stays with the club and remains the number one goalkeeper.
If an offer arrives for him before the deadline, the city will make a decision.
Part of that decision is also looking for potential alternatives, with Gianluigi Donnaruma of Paris Saint-Germain being a player of a long-tracked player.
But they are not negotiating with PSG for the Italians when things are standing.
One source shows Sky Sports News that he is considered a potential free transfer option for next year.
If City needs to replace Adason this summer, Donnaruma could be one of their nominee lists.
Donnarumma posted a statement Thursday evening, confirming that he would be leaving PSG.
“From the first day I arrived, I gave everything on and off the pitch to get my place and to protect Paris Saint-Germain’s goals,” the Italian wrote in a letter to the club’s supporters.
“Unfortunately, someone has decided that I am no longer part of the group and can contribute to the success of the team. I am disappointed and disappointed.
“I hope to see a fan of Parc de Princess in my eyes again and say goodbye that it should.
“If that doesn’t happen, I want you to know that your support and love means the world to me, and I will never forget it. I will always bring to me all the emotions, magical nights and memories of you that made me feel at home.
“My teammates – my second family – I’m grateful for every fight, every laugh, every moment we shared. You’re always my brother.
“It was a great honor to play for this club and live in this town. Thank you, Paris.”
