Reports say that the agents of Man City striker Ehring Haaland attacked a “consensus” with Barcelona’s president Joan Laporta.
The citizens had a poor season by their standards in 2024/25, with the PEP Guardiola side third in the Premier League.
Man City is trying to get back to its best this season, winning four previous league titles, but it has started consistently.
City scored just seven points from five Premier League matches, with Guardiola men earning the first draw of the season against Arsenal on Sunday.
There were rumours that Haaland is not satisfied with the situation on Man City’s pitch, with reports that citizens want to win the Premier League or Champions League this season to secure his future.
Haaland has been in great shape in this term at the club and country, scoring seven goals in six matches for Man City and six goals in two games for Norway.

Barcelona is deeply connected with the move to Haaland next summer. Recently, President Joan Laporta has claimed he has “obsessive thoughts” with Man City striker.
And now, reports in Spain claim that the president of Barcelona has put on a “according” with Haaland’s agent, Rafaela Pimienta.
The report adds: “And he assured him that if he finally decided to leave Etihad Stadium in 2026, he would do so just to play for Barca.
However, football insider journalist Pete O’Rourke recently insisted that a move to Barcelona during the summer transfer period is unlikely at this stage.
