This modern family star is embracing a new chapter.
She was known as Aubrey Anderson Emmons while portraying Lily on her beloved sitcom, but the 18-year-old transformed her Monica into Frances Anderson as she stepped into a new era as a musician.
“Francis is actually part of my legal name. It’s my middle name and it’s after my mother’s old family friend,” she shared in an exclusive interview with E! News ‘Francesca Amiker. “I thought it was a little shorter than ‘Aubrey Anderson Emmons’. I have a long hyphen surname. ”
She further states: “I wanted to switch that, so I wanted people to see a new side of it, and I wanted to create spaces, especially just for music.
The EP, titled Drown, is currently available on all major platforms for fans to jump in.
“A lot of my music is inspired by things when I was a child and when I was younger,” she explained. “Do a lot about what my experience in high school was like, and I hope people find it relevant.”
