Brighton midfielder Carlos Valleva reportedly asked the club “verbally” to get his club to join Manchester United, but his agent agreed to United’s proposal in personal terms.
United’s focus is reportedly likely to always switch to midfield after fixing the striker issue. They got Matheus Cunha early in the window for a wide range of roles and quickly added Bryan Mbeumo to the other side.
It took time to secure the strikers, but they did, but signed Benjamin Sesco from RB Leipzig and defeated Newcastle with Premier League rivals.
It was still ongoing, but Brighton’s interest in Baleva has been revealed, and the player himself appears to be fishing for the move.
According to Insider X Account Indykaila, the midfielder is not only looking for Brighton, but he “verally asked” to move him to United.
His agent is also said to have “gived a thumbs up” on the offer of personal terminology at Old Trafford if Segal allowed the midfielder to leave.
Brighton is said to be unsettling from the £100 million valuation, so that’s what they have to reach United if they have the chance to sign Valeva.
After spending around £200 million on players, whether or not they can do that is already a big question. There are still potential exits for Alejandro Garnacho, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Tyrell Malacia.
It is still unclear whether they will raise the funds they need to sign Baleba.

However, if the midfielder is not being sold by Brighton in this window, his value seems to continue to rise. The report put the midfielder at the £100 million mark, but insider David Ornstein suggests United have not been told that, but Brighton hopes Valeva’s prices will rise.
He states: “Brighton’s preference is to keep Carlos Valleva up until at least the summer of 2026. Manchester United are doing research through intermediaries and prices are not cited. Brighton’s hierarchy believes one day Moises is worth as much as Kayseko.
Seagulls were always known when Kaiseko was the most famous example, and along with other examples such as Alexis Mac Alistair, when you could request the best price from the star.
