EXCLUSIVE: Ben and Dan Newmark – and their production company Grandma’s House Entertainment have signed with UTA for representation in all areas.

Since its launch, Grandma’s House has delivered a range of hit series across network, cable, and streaming platforms –creating high-concept formats that span genres. This includes high-stakes social experiment The Trust for Netflix, three seasons of The Misery Index for TBS starring Jameela Jamil, and The Impractical Jokers, the interactive competition series Chasing the Crown for Amazon/Twitch, and the paranormal docuseries Conjuring Kesha – starring the eponymous singer – for Discovery+.

The company’s most recent hit, Foul Play with Anthony Davis, aired in February. UTA touts the series as “TBS’ biggest launch of an original program in years.” GHE is also behind the breakout true crime series The Real Murders on Elm Street for Investigation Discovery.

In the scripted space, the brothers co-created, wrote, and produced comedies Gigi Does It on IFC and Let’s Get Physical on Pop.

Additional unscripted projects include a wide range of content from big dating formats like Coupled on Fox, co-created with Mark Burnett, or Catching Kelce on E!, to smaller food travelogue shows like Feed the Beast on Travel Channel.

Grandma’s House currently has three series in production, including a high-volume pickup for a big unscripted comedy format that will be announced soon. They have multiple projects in various stages of development across network, cable, and streaming platforms, and continue to focus on big reality formats and scripted comedies.
