EXCLUSIVE: Adult animation FAST channel is launching on Samsung TV Plus and Xumo Play.
The channel, whose parent company has backing from Game of Thrones creator George R. R. Martin and music impresario Jimmy Iovine, offers a slate of animation that spans recognized franchises to more avant garde indie programs.
Bizaar Studios created the channel as part of its strategy to spotlight creative animation. As we revealed in January, Iovine’s son, Jeremy Iovine, Amir Mohamadzadeh and Eric Bromberg launched the company with backing from Iovine Snr, Martin and animation veteran Conrad Vernon.
Bizaar will offer shows such as 1960s anime series Speed Racer, the long-running gentleman thief series Lupin the 3rd, martial arts anime Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple, psychological horror anthology Requiem From the Darkness, Sega video game adaptation Virtua Fighter, animated docs from The New Yorker and shorts from the likes of Mr. Friend, Pedro Allevato, Alec Lang, Maddie Brewer, Nina Chung, Amy Hewett, and Lincoln Swing Street.
