EXCLUSIVE: Veteran talent agent Bonnie Bernstein is leaving CAA to join Gersh as a senior partner. She will remain based in New York, working out of Gersh’s office there. The move has been in the works for awhile, part of Gersh’s expansion efforts following the 2023 investment by private equity firm Crestview Partners.
Clients confirmed to follow Bernstein to Gersh include Michelle Monaghan, Michael C. Hall, Ty Burrell, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jason Ritter, Mireille Enos and Anthony Carrigan, with more big names expected to join them in the coming days. She has represented some actors on her roster, including Monaghan, Burrell and Ritter, for two decades or more.
A UCLA graduate, Bernstein started her career as a manager at Banner Entertainment. She moved to New York in 1998 and opened Endeavor’s office in the city. Following the Endeavor-WMA merger, Bernstein went to ICM as a partner in 2009 and subsequently transitioned to CAA after that agency’s 2022 acquisition of ICM.
