Jamie Carrager and Roy Keene criticized Arsenal for their lack of offensive invention after a 1-0 loss at Liverpool on Sunday.
The Premier League champions have won one more than their title rival thanks to a great long-distance free kick from Dominique Sobosilai.
Both teams gave each other great respect in their approach as Liverpool wants to plug in without the ball.
Ultimately, the results prove that Arsenal’s careful approach is expensive, but Liverpool did what the champions do. Find a way to win.
The two styles of the show meant that the game was determined by individual errors or magical moments, and ultimately became the latter.

Gunners manager Mikel Arteta has been criticized for his careful mentality and lack of creativity in the final third, with Sky Sports Pundits Carragher and Keane expressing their disappointment.
Former Liverpool defender Carragher said Arsenal had no scoring issues to resolve this summer, but no creativity issues.
He told Sky Sports:
“The goals, XGs, numbers they score are all black and white, and I feel like I need to shift slightly since last season, and I have been more aggressive with the ball.
“You take (Martin) Zubimendi to the ball. You take the guy in front. (ebere) eze’s comes in. It’s three games, but in the two away games we’ve seen Arsenal this season, nothing changes.
“Rely heavily on set pieces and don’t create anything in open play. They’re the best team in Europe.
Former Manchester United captain Keene added that gunners need to do something “from the cuff” to make them more unpredictable.
“I think it’s great that you have a defensive record like they do, and they’re already good at set pieces. We have to give Arsenal a thumbs up for that,” he began.
“But if you’re always dependent on it and then you’re coming to Liverpool to go to set pieces, Liverpool is defending well. Obviously, it’s hard to score with Liverpool.
“Do something a little different. (DeClan) Rice is round the corner and they’ve been taking years. They’re reducing the game. That’s part of the tactics.
“Yeah, when they were chasing the goal, they were rushing their play towards their end, but in general play you’re thinking, “Do something right away, do something out of the cuff.”
“They are still moving forward, but a bit of a robot. But now they’re set pieces, not their defensive record.
“Theo (Walcott) mentioned what is worthy… Sometimes you don’t get what you deserve in this game. This season, so far this is finding a football game and how to beat Liverpool. You can analyze it.
“We’ll find a way to win. At halftime, the manager says something and substitutes. That’s really a sign of the top team.”
