Glen Powell is getting a college football do-over in Hulu‘s upcoming comedy series Chad Powers.
The actor debuted the trailer for the series on Saturday morning during ESPN’s College GameDay. In it, he plays former Oregon hotshot Russ Holliday, who made an unforgivable mistake eight years ago that cost him his entire football career.
After making a massive play during a game, he showboats his way into the end zone, dropping the ball before he crosses the threshold and allowing Georgia to recover the ball and seal the win themselves. So, when he sees that South Georgia is hosting tryouts nearly a decade later, he decides to go back to college and fulfill his potential — only he’ll have to go undercover as Chad Powers, an unsuspecting (read: very suspecting, given those prosthetics) college football player.
