EXCLUSIVE: Charlie Hall (Monsters, Single Drunk Female) and Kiarra Hamagami Goldberg (Charmed, Invasion) have been set as series regulars in the new Apple series Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed, from creator and showrunner David J. Rosen.
They join the previously announced cast led by Tatiana Maslany, Jake Johnson, and Dolly De Leon.
The half-hour darkly comedic thriller follows Paula (Maslany), a newly divorced mom who falls down a dangerous rabbit hole of blackmail, murder, and youth soccer.
Goldberg will play Geri, a fact-checker at a prestigious New York publication.
Hall will play Rudy, a fact-checker at a prestigious New York publication and Geri’s work buddy.
Additionally, Johnson plays Paula’s husband, Karl, and De Leon as Detective Sofia Gonzalez.
Hailing from Apple Studios and Counterpart Studios, the series is written and executive produced by creator and showrunner Rosen (Sugar, Hunters), and directed and executive produced by David Gordon Green (Halloween, Mythic Quest). The series was developed by Simon Kinberg and Audrey Chon, who executive produce for Genre Films under their first-look deal with Apple TV+, and Bard Dorros, who also executive produces for Anonymous Content.
Hall was most recently seen in Ryan Murphy’s Netflix series Monster: Menendez Brothers. Most recently, he played Andrew in Season 2 of the HBO Max series The Sex Lives of College Girls, from Mindy Kaling and Justin Noble, and returned for the second season of Freeform’s Single Drunk Female. On the film side, Hall appeared as Kiernan Shipka’s soon-to-be former love interest in the HBOMax/New Line feature film Sweethearts. Additional credits include Peacock’s Bel-Air, the Disney+ series Big Shot and Netflix’s Moxie, directed by and starring Amy Poehler. He is repped by CAA and Untitled Entertainment.
Goldberg is an actress and filmmaker based in New York City and Vancouver, BC., with over a decade of experience in film and television. Her credits include a recurring role on Percy Jackson (Disney+), and guest appearances on Invasion (AppleTV+), Charmed (The CW), and The Calling (Peacock/NBC). As a multi-hyphenate creative, Goldberg has directing and writing credits, including Wrench (director), It’s Not You It’s Her (co-writer, alongside MaryKathryn Kopp — sold to Sony), and Fractal (director).
