Reports say Chelsea have decided whether Nicholas Jackson’s proposed move to Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
The Bruce is third in the ranking of the biggest spenders of the summer in Europe, but they are keen to sign more before this window closes in interest in Zabi Simons, Alejandro Garnacho and Fermin Lopez.
However, it has been reported that Chelsea will need an exit to fund these transactions. Jackson is among the players who can move elsewhere in the next few days.
Jackson has great potential, but his temperament is questioned as he fell behind Joan Pedro and Liam Dellup at the start of this campaign.
This means a report suggesting that Chelsea is open to his exit and could cost up to £80 million in this window.

Newcastle United and Aston Villa are linked to Jackson, but Bayern Munich is also monitoring his situation, with Fabrizio Romano confirming that Chelsea’s “Today” and “Speaker” are being held.
“FC Bayern is back to Club to Club to Club today with Chelsea for Nico Jackson,” Romano revealed on X.
“As there is one international loan spot left for #CFC, discussions regarding the formula of the transaction should include the obligation to purchase.
“The players/clubs have done nothing up to now, but Bayern continues to insist.”
Meanwhile, journalist Ben Jacobs has repeatedly said that Chelsea will leave with Jackson liable to buy, but they want the forward to “a £10 million loan fee.”
Jacobs states in X:
“The club says it currently requires a loan fee of £10 million. Bayern is in discussion.”

Regarding the aforementioned potential contractions, Romano backed up one player and ended this window as a “Chelsea player.”
“Chelsea continues to work for Xavi Simons. I can guarantee that. They are in contact with the people responsible for the deal,” Romano said on his YouTube channel.
“Garnacho is going to Chelsea. I’m in my position. I’m waiting for a formal step. But he will be a Chelsea player in my opinion. So they’re not working on Fermin as a negotiation.
“On the other hand, for medical purposes, Giulio Enciso has no green light. It’s not yet 100% collapsed from what I’m hearing, but still, there’s no final approval.”
Regarding Fermin Lopez, he insisted: “Chelsea spoke to the player’s agent on Tuesday, and they had direct contact to ask about the situation and understand the details of the contract.
“We can tell you that the Barcelona sources have refused to bid. Barcelona guarantees there will be no official bids, formal proposals, emails, or any official bids from Chelsea.
“Currently, there is no contact between clubs to clubs. We are in the last day (of the window), so this is not weeks or months. Obviously, it’s a matter of hours and days, so this can change at any time.”
