Chelsea legend Joe Cole revealed his “worry” that one of Manchester United’s summer signatures was the “last” that “Maverick” needed.
The Red Devils are active in the transfer window this summer as they invested around £200 million to sign Benjamin Sesco, Brian Mbemo, Mash Cunya and Diego Leon.
Man UTD has more business this summer as he remains in the market for new goalkeepers and center midfielders, but with the current additions, head coach Ruben Amorim offers a much improved offense.
Sesko, Mbeumo and Cunha are optional upgrades at Man Utd’s disposal last season, but Cole has raised questions about the former wolf star.

Cunha became Man UTD’s first summer signature after activating the £62.5 million release clause. He was one of the best forwards in the Premier League last season as he helped the wolves secure survival.
Nevertheless, Cole explained why Cunha thinks it could be “need” for “the last one.”
“What I’m worried about Cunha – he’s a great player, a great scorer, he can do everything, but he’s heard about his attitude,” Cole told TNT Sports.
“I don’t want to say he’s a bad young man, because I don’t want to say that, so he’s a bit of a heretic and I’ve heard people talk about him like that.
“The last thing United dressing room needs is another Maverick, and there are Mavericks everywhere who put things on social media and more.
“There are so many people coming out of that dressing room, so I’m gambling with Cunha.”

However, Amorim has different opinions about Cunha. He believes United’s new signature has a “really important” quality.
“He’s a big guy who’s really important in this moment. When he’s upset, you can feel it in the environment and that’s good,” Amorim said.
“When you play some games and he loses, he’s another guy and that’s a good thing.
“I’m really happy with him and the others because he has some traits I missed last season.”
Sesko’s move to Man UTD was announced on Saturday morning, explaining why sports director Jason Wilcox approved the 22-year-old’s £73 million move.
“Benjamin has a rare combination of inspiring pace and ability to physically control defenders, making him one of the most exceptional young talents in world football,” Wilcox said.
“We closely followed Benjamin’s career, and we concluded that all of our data analysis and research had the qualities and character needed to thrive at Manchester United.
“Working under the leadership of Reuben and our outstanding performance team, Benjamin is taking part in the perfect environment to support him in reaching his world-class potential.
“The desire that all our new signatures have shown us joining the club this summer underscores the charm and height of Manchester United.
