Colton Underwood details “Shame” he felt he lost his virginity before coming out as gay
Colton Underwood doesn’t have his first favorite memories.
The bachelor’s alumni who openly spoke about being a virgin while appearing in season 23 of the ABC Dating Series, reflected on his first sexual experience by summarizing the encounter in just three words.
“Confusion, shame, guilt,” Colton shared in an exclusive interview with E. news. “It was your closed, confused man.”
Two years after giving Cathy Randolph the final rose in 2019, the 33-year-old appeared as a gay in a televised interview. He married Jordan C. Brown in 2023 and welcomed the couple through deputies in September.
Now, Colton is leading the experience as a virgin in the public eye with the new Hulu reality show.
“I wasn’t there to give you date advice. I never said, ‘This is a journey of self-discovery,'” he said of co-hosting the show with fellow bachelor’s bachelor star Caitlyn Bristow. “Yes, you’re looking for a life partner, but you really learn a lot about yourself.”
