Manchester United head coach Reuben Amorim was blown up for not starting Cobby Mineau and Manchester City, but Owen Hargreaves wants “five changes.”
Man Utd was pleasantly beaten by Man City on Sunday at Etihad as Phil Foden’s header and Erling Haaland’s brace sealed a 3-0 victory.
The Red Devils were dominated throughout the pitch by the Superiorman City side, as there is still no evidence that the 3-4-3 system that Amorim preferred could work.
Mainoo is a victim of Amorim’s claims to his system, and it’s clear that the head coach is not a huge fan of the center midfielder.
England International started their match on the bench on Sunday, but he came in for the final stretch and was undoubtedly the best player in Man Utd.

Hargreaves believes Mainoo “have to play” because Pundit is asking for “five changes” in Man Utd.
“Where do you want to start? There are a lot of issues,” Hargreaves told Premier League Productions.
“I never know how Kobbie Mainoo won’t play on this team.
“He came for that game and in 30 minutes he was probably the best player in the country mile.
“Sesco is not ready. He scored a lot of goals in Germany, but he wasn’t ready today. You looked at Haaland, seeing how he ran around and pushed him down, he wasn’t fully active.
“Mbeumo is at the top. Cunha is at the top. Bruno can no longer play as a middle defensive midfielder. He has to play as No. 10.
“The setup method isn’t working now, so I’ll tweak it. I’ll make five changes and play Cunya and Bruno as No. 10 before Mbeumo. Cobby has to join the team.
“They had more ownership than the city today, but they didn’t look like a better team. Did they look like a lot of points? No?”

Premier League winner Danny Simpson claims that the three UTD stars “do not work in the Premier League”, but also hit Maine Amorim.
“The ball goes to (Patrick) Dorg on the left. City has him take it (as they know) he’s not going to hurt you,” Simpson told Stadium Astro.
“He tries to run up and down all day, but we have nothing on the side. When Amado (Dialo) plays as a wingback, he’s going to do something.
“But when you have a Dolgue or (noussair) Mazrawi or (diogo) dalot, I don’t think it can work in the Premier League.
“And I’m trying to create opportunities…I feel sorry for Sesco today (Benjamin) and he’s trying to do it, but there’s nothing he can do.”
On Mainoo, Simpson added:
“He was trying, getting on the ball, a forward run, that’s what we’re missing.
“He knows what this means and there are too many players who don’t really seem to care about it. It’s flimsy. They didn’t really want that enough.”
