Disney is preparing for a year of magical activations leading up to the 2026 D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
As Destination D23 kicked off Saturday, Michael Vargo, head of D23: The Official Disney Fan Club, announced the return of the Fan Event will take place Aug. 14-16, 2026 in Anaheim, California, with Jodi Benson as the first official D23 Fan-bassador.
Following an an expanded and more immersive Fan Event in 2025, tickets for next year’s event go on sale in spring 2026. Hosted at the Anaheim Convention Center and the Honda Center, fans will get real-time access to announcements at marquee showcases and presentations, in addition to immersive experiences and exclusive shopping opportunities. The Fan Event will also see the return of D23 Day at Angel Stadium and D23 Day at Disneyland.
“D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event offers fans from around the globe a chance to experience the very best in storytelling and innovation in a way that only Disney can deliver,” said Vargo. “We are already hard at work dreaming up ways to continue raising the bar for Disney fans next year when we return to Anaheim, and we can’t wait to bring them a truly unforgettable event.”
Events leading up to D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event include a Halloween “Boo-nanza” event, the next D23 On the Road series, “A Jolly Holiday on the Lot” in Burbank and more.
