Dolly Parton shares Kelly Clarkson’s heartfelt advice after Brandon Blackstock’s death
Dolly Parton knows what it’s like to always love those we lose.
A few months after the death of her husband, Carl Thomas Dean, the musical legend offered advice to friends Kelly Clarkson and Leva Mantea, lamenting Kelly’s ex-husband, Leba step-by-law Brandon Blackstock and the late Brandon Blackstock.
“I think you have to be grateful for the years you spent with someone,” Dolly said on August 12 in an interview with Entertainment Tonight.
As she simply said it, “Respect their memories.”
Brandon – River Rose Blackstock, 11, Remington “Remy” Alexander Blackstock (9), along with Kelly, was “surrounded by family” on August 7th at age 48, and Dan Hollis of Coroner, Silverbow County, confirmed the E. news.
After his death, many of Brandon’s loved ones shared an emotional tribute to music producers, including his son Seth Blackstock.
