Reports say Man City striker Erling Haaland has set conditions for staying at Etihad Stadium beyond the end of the season.
Citizens had a poor season with the standards that Man City later took third place in the 2024/25 campaign and recovered to qualify for the Champions League.
Pep Guardiola’s team scored 13 points for Champions Liverpool after winning the Premier League title in the previous four seasons.
Rodri’s injury in September was one of the main reasons for the drop-off, but Haaland never reached the height of his first few seasons at Man City, he still managed 22 Premier League goals.
Man City brought in Omar Marmash, Vitr Reis, Juma Bar, Abdukodil Kusanov and Nico Gonzalez to the January transfer window to help Guardiola finish the campaign strongly.
And they brought seven signatures in the summer, with Tijani Rayjunder, Rayan Ait Noli, Rayan Cherki, James Trafford, Gianruli Donnaruma, Sver Nipan and Marcus Bettinelli all participating.

However, while the Norwegian temporarily ended speculation about his future by signing a new contract, there were almost immediately rumors that his new deal included two break clauses.
This season, there was no intention to plan this season with citizens winning one and losing two Premier League matches and launching a new campaign.
And now there are new reports in Spain that despite Haarland renewing his contract until 2034 earlier this year, he will “set conditions for staying” for next season.
