EXCLUSIVE: Audible’s From the Oasthouse: The Alan Partridge Podcast is returning for a fourth helping.
Steve Coogan will continue to voice his iconic comedy creation and the series will launch on June 30.
The pod will return for 11 episodes of musings about issues large and small. Besides new hobbies and familiar ramblings, Season 4 takes a more serious turn as the shadow of the British justice system looms large, with North Norfolk’s broadcaster facing a criminal case that could alter the course of his life forever. Partridge has also broken fresh ground as he delves into horticulture for the first time.
From the Oasthouse has so far aired three seasons and just won Best Comedy Podcast at the British Podcast Awards.
Partridge said: “As someone not poor enough to have ever lived in a flat, gardens have been a feature of my domestic life for decades. So I can think of nowhere I’d rather announce the new series of my podcast than here alongside the Royal Horticultural Society.”
From the Oasthouse has been written by Coogan, Neil Gibbons and Rob Gibbons and is produced by Baby Cow for Audible.
The news comes as the BBC prepares to launch Partridge’s latest series Alan Partridge: How Are You?, another mockumentary format that will see him attempt to reintegrate into British life after spending 12 months in Saudi Arabia.
