Reports have confirmed that Arsenal’s “interest” in Juventus defender Andrea Cambiaso, which is a confirmed gunner who has “contacted” the Italians.
Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is particularly frequently associated with Cambiaso’s movement, with reports coming before the summer window claiming that Catalonia will pursue the Juventus star at “any sacrifice” this summer.
The move to Etihad Stadium appears to have been clearly approaching at €60 million over the January transfer period, but the deal ultimately collapsed despite being in the advanced stages.
Arsenal also links with the potential moves of Cambiaso and Juventus transfer journalist Mirco di Natale.
Di Natale told the Italian Football Podcast:
“I got contacted by Arsenal in Cambiaso, not through his agent, but through an intermediary.

“There was also interest from Atletico Madrid and the wolves. Juventus only listens to offers for at least 50 million euros.
“And this is unlikely to arrive for players who played very badly late last season. That’s why we’ll see Cambiazo in Juventus this season.”
Arsenal brought six new signatures this summer, joining the side of Mikel Arteta this summer, along with Kepa Alizabaraga, Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgado, Noni Madueke, Christian Mosquera and Victor Gyoker.
Gunners are trying to move more players this summer. That’s recently confirmed that it’s likely to be true, he told reporters:

Arsenal legend Alan Smith believes that one of the players leaving Emirates Stadium this summer will be Gabriel Jesus, who is linked to his return to Brazil.
Smith told Bestbettingsites:
“He might be someone you say, thank you, move him and make a little money.
“You want to keep Leandro Trossard because he is a versatile player who has done well and has set important goals.
“I don’t think you want to lose him, and actually the same as Martinelli – he didn’t have the best season, but you definitely want to protect him.”
