Reports say Arsenal is ready to make the opening offer for Crystal Palace playmaker Ebeki Eze.
Mikel Arteta has welcomed six new players so far this summer and hopes to sign Eze to No. 7.
England International has been impressed with Selhurst Park for five years. This starred in the club’s FA Cup victory, particularly in the 2024/25 campaign, and scored in the final against Manchester City.
Palace paid about £17 million to the 27-year-old Queens Park Rangers, who scored 34 goals in the Eagles’ 146 Premier League match.
He cemented his club’s legend with Wembley’s winner against Pep Guardiola’s men, but Eze was able to leave the palace in the summer transfer window a few months after winning his first major trophy with the club.

Eze appeals to Arsenal for his ability to play either as No. 10 or in midfield 3. Well, and of course, he’s very good at football.
Gunners supporters feel that Arteta should add an elite left winger to win the club to the Premier League and Champions League lines, but for that to happen, it will require players to be sold.
Gabriel Martinelli certainly has to leave if Arsenal wants to sign an out-and-out winger, but the sale of him or Leandro Torosad is not necessary to buy the palace starman.
According to the football relocation, the first bid is imminent.
Arsenal said it is “preparing its first bid” to sign Eze, who was released from the Youth Academy at age 13.
Arteta’s side is expected to make the opening offer “early next week,” with the total package expected to be worth £52 million.

Chelsea agrees to a £56.9 million trio deal as Arsenal Target’s Spurs Sort Record Transfer
The palace asks price is a player’s £68 million release clause. Therefore, the offer may be rejected.
Arsenal is expected to offer “a second installment of £22 million (€25.5 million) paid over the next two years” and “a second installment of £25.5 million in the future.”
North Londoners show “no intention” to meet the Eagles’ asking price.
Oliver Glasner’s side may be “squeezing potential alternatives,” and is of interest to Arsenal’s Leandro Torosad and West Ham United’s Lucas Paketa.
Arteta will be happy to keep Belgian winger linked to Borussia Dortmund. Belgian wingers can “use as bait” even if both transactions are “highly likely to be done separately for accounting purposes.”
Despite interest in Trossard, it is claimed that Palace’s “primary target for replacing Eze” is West Ham’s Paqueta.
The 27-year-old’s contract expires in 2027, and the report suggests that the Hammer will be open to letting players go for around £30 million.
The report adds that Trossard and Paqueta’s “sensational double soups” have not been ruled out.
Glasner has already shown to Crystal Palace Chairman Steve Parish that he would like to sign Paketa if he leaves for north London.
West Ham is said to be open to selling players at a reasonable price. It is unclear what types of numbers we will accept at this point.
Meanwhile, sources have shown that the football transfer is not ruled out for Crystal Palace to sign both Paketo and Torosad, which will become a sensational double soup for the offense.
