Former Liverpool midfielder Didi Haman believes new signing Milos Kerkez must improve his defense to remain with Anfield’s team.
The Reds have had a perfect record so far this season, winning three games against Bournemouth, Newcastle United and Arsenal.
Arne Slot’s 2024/25 Premier League champions are back at the top of the table despite getting a bit lucky along the three wins.
Liverpool boss slot is about to sleep with six new signatures except for two new backup goalkeepers. HugoEkitike, Florian Wirtz, Kerkez, Jeremie Frimpong, Giovanni Leoni and Alexander Isak are all participating in the summer.
Kerquez, who signed from Bournemouth quite early in his transfer period, was selected by former Liverpool midfielder Haman after winning Arsenal on Sunday.
Haman told Adventure Gamers: “Andy Robertson had a few bad luck last season, so the club brought someone else.

“Kerkez started out a little excited about Arsenal, but in the second half he started playing better and seemed to settle down.
“He’s created some good tackles against Noni Maduke. We have to wait, but Robertson is always an option.
“Milos Kerquez isn’t the fastest. It would be interesting to see how he plays in the coming weeks, as it looked dangerous every time the ball was played on the top.
“It was the same for Bournemouth and Crystal Palace. He needs to improve his defense. He’s only 21 years old so we have to wait and watch.
“He’s certainly moving forward, but his main job is to protect, and in the first half he didn’t like what he saw in some situations against Arsenal.”

Another former Liverpool player Jamie Carager said, “I’m keen to win every tackle, so I’ve picked out Kerkez this summer for criticism with Sky Sports Pandit who wants to tone his aggression left and right.
Carragher said:
“Sometimes we have to put the brakes on, but I hope that it will come with age. He’s only 21. I’m watching him go to the header at the half line.
