Reports show that Alexander Isaac and Eddie Howe made a big bust increase at the end of last year, but there was another turning point in April.
On the deadline day, Isaac finally won his wish as he finally recorded a £125 million move from Newcastle United to Premier League rival Liverpool.
This concludes the long-term, intense transfer saga, with Liverpool spending exceeding £400 million in the summer window.
In his first interview as a Liverpool player, Isaac admitted the length of the saga and revealed that he “wants” following the mega money move to Anfield.
“I’m surprised,” Isaac insisted.
“It’s been a long journey to come here, but it’s very difficult to be part of this team, this club and all the teams it represents. It’s something I’m proud of and I’m really looking forward to.
“I’m happy to be finished and get back to work. I’m looking forward to seeing my teammates and fans and coming back there.”

Isak added: “I think there’s a lot to do, I think there’s a lot to improve. I’m a striker, but I mainly want to give my team as much as possible to my goals, but more than that.
“I want to win everything. Yeah (just as easy).”
The windows are closed in the summer. Now is the time to see the biggest deal “inside story” to surface, with Newcastle United correspondent Luke Edwards providing a timeline for Telegraph events from May 2024 to September 2025.
In September, Hau is allegedly “fed up” with Isaac’s “suling” amid the “poor” start of the 2024/25 campaign, “fed up” with Isaac’s “suling” and “an inactive performance in Fulham that brought things to his mind.”
Hau is said to have faced Isaac, and there were “strong words.” The report claims:
“There were strong words. Isaac was told he was a Newcastle player and would remain one. If he wanted to be an elite player, he had to play and act. It was a victory for Howe’s man management skills.
“This is in mind that Newcastle has planned this summer. If Howe could reintegrate the players once, he would certainly have done so again.”

But as we know now, Howe’s supposed “winning” was short-lived. This is because Isaac’s attitude refused to head towards this summer’s transfer period.
The report later claims Isaac’s attitude has been “changed” after helping Newcastle win the Carabao Cup “he quietly retreated,” but “he was not focusing on training or working hard.”
There are also claims about Isaac’s “private” sentiment after winning the Carabao Cup and Newcastle’s push to the Champions League.
Reports added:
“Isaac personally felt that he achieved everything he wanted as a Newcastle player, as he scored a victory goal against Liverpool at Wembley and enjoyed the victory parade.
“In fact, some insiders have suggested that since April, Isaac has been acting and playing like someone who doesn’t want to qualify for the Champions League.
