Red Devils players, managers and fans are in a better mood after Ruben Amorim led the team to wins in each of their last three Premier League games.
Manchester United moved up to 6th place in the Premier League table with wins over Sunderland, Liverpool and Brighton, which took much of the pressure off Amorim.
There are still areas that Man United need to improve over the next few transfer windows, with new striker Benjamin Sesco struggling to find goals and their midfield receiving criticism.
Man United co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe insisted when he first took over that he wanted to find the next big talent in world football, rather than buying a finished product of Kylian Mbappé or Jude Bellingham.
Ratcliffe said on the Geraint Thomas Cycling Club podcast last May:

“It’s not that smart, is it? Buying Mbappé. In a sense. Anyone can understand that. But what’s more difficult is finding the next Mbappé, the next (Jude) Bellingham or the next Roy Keane.”
Now, Sky Germany journalist Plettenberg has revealed that Man United are working hard to sign AIK striker Filling, who has scored two goals in seven appearances for Swedish giants Allsvenskan.
Plettenberg wrote about X: Manchester United are in detailed negotiations regarding the transfer of Kevin Filling. The talented 16-year-old striker could leave AIK as early as this winter. The estimated value is approximately 3 million euros. Several Bundesliga clubs also consider him interesting. ”
Manchester United have also been closely linked with a number of midfielders, including Nottingham Forest’s Elliott Anderson, and there is speculation that they could make an offer for Atletico Madrid’s Conor Gallagher in January.
